I first fell in love with the character Eric Northman in The Southern Vampire Mysteries/Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. Eric is a ridiculously good looking 1,000 year old Viking vampire. If you read the novels (book 4 Dead to the World will make you LOVE him) you will probably fall in love with Eric as well (sorry Bill lovers).

So when HBO turned the novels into a television series, True Blood, I was very eager to see who will play my Viking boyfriend (in my head). That’s when I was introduced to Alexander Skarsgård. Alexander fits the physical bill. He’s tall (6’4"), blond, blue eyed and Swedish. The True Blood series hasn’t showcased the Eric Northman character much, so it’s kind of hard to compare him to the character in the book. But I hear next season (which starts in June) will involve Eric in more plot lines.

Besides being good looking, Alexander seems like a good guy. Listen to an interview with him with the women of the Last Bite podcast. It’s really nice he took time out to talk to fans and he was open to answering ALL questions.

I will admit, my only complaint with Alexander is that I wish he gained like 20 more pounds I don't have any complaints after viewing his photos one more time he's fine, just the way he is, but what do I know, he’s tall, foreign and cute, you really can’t ask for much else, I guess.
