I was going through my tumblr feed and the photo above caught my eye. Actually it was the little notebook with "FIELD NOTES" printed on the cover that peaked my interest. I was like, "hey, that's cute and I want it."

So thanks to the "googler" I found where they sell these small and cute notebooks - a company called Field Notes. And guess what? You can get 3 for only $9.95! You can choose what type of paper you want inside, either graph paper, ruled paper, plain paper or a mix! Très Magnifique!

But I wasn't ready to purchase just yet. So I did more googling and came across the photo above with a review (yes!). Chad (the blogger) explains why these notebooks are better than the notebooks you can find in Wal-Mart (spoiler alert: it's in the details). And guess what? He won me over.
I just purchased "The Kit" for $34.95 (includes 3 graph paper notebooks, 3 mix paper notebooks, 6 Pens, 6 Pencils, and 1 Calendar) with shipping the entire order was $42.95. As an extra bonus all purchases made before Dec. 31st they will donate 50% of each order to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. So now I patiently wait for these cute little books to arrive.
You can purchase the FIELD NOTES notebook, read Chad's review and see the original photo that started this mess.

Those look like an old-school version of the notebooks we use at work for our archaeology surveys. If they were full of waterproof paper like what we have, they would be awesome!
