Adventures in Babysitting

Simply, I love the movie Adventures in Babysitting.

If I stumble across this film in my channel surfing I am compelled to stop and watch. I can't remember how many times I've seen it, but I know at least a quarter of it by heart.

Of course the classic scene is the "No body leaves this place without singing the blues" which most people are familiar (below).

Another interesting Adventures in Babysitting tib-bit. But did you know Daryl from the film grew up to be the Rent hottie Anthony Rapp?

Anthony Rapp

You know me and my fear of ginger people, but Anthony gets a pass because he's just so adorable.

  1. Adventures in Babysitting will always be memorable to me because it was the first time I heard the word bastard. I asked my mom what it meant. Drama ensued.

  2. Love the movie too, classic! What I remember is the scene where she's dancing in her bedroom, but can't remember the exact song. All I know was that I got up and danced and sang to it too when it was on.

  4. @Kitschy Coo LOL... The Golden Child with Eddie Murphy was the first time I heard "bad" language in a movie and the experience has stuck with me for years... I remember coming home from that movie feeling a couple years old... even though I was only 10 or so at the time. By the way, I don't think my parents knew the movie has was going to be that bad (language wise).

@Samara yes! I L-O-V-E the intro to this movie! Classic.
