  1. Ok, my first thought, after being repulsed, was to wonder if anyone hung around train stations and offered to be the 'responsible white person' for a small fee. It's amazing, in a horrific way, how humans have treated each other over the years. Sadly nowadays you could probably replace the word 'colored' with 'gay' or 'immigrant' and in some places no one would bat an eye.
