This was my first erotic novel (if you don't count fanfiction) and I have to say it was brilliant! It wasn't just sex-scene after sex-scene (but there were plenty of them)... it actually had a nice, if not terribly sad, plot. I think the author did a good job pacing the erotica and the plot, so that you walk away feeling rather warm (hehehehe) and like you actually read a novel, not just smut (not that there's anything wrong with that).
I highly recommend!
