Innovation is backwards... iPad THEN telephone...

Malcolm Gladwell and Adam Gopnik were here in February of last year for a “fireside chat” that include conversation on texting, telephones, the iPad and more. In the video above, both men offer example of innovations they feel go backwards, instead of forward. Gopnik argues, for example, that the iPad should have come before the telephone, that the telephone is an improvement over the iPad. Watch the humorous exchange above.
