What I'm Obsessively Listening to...

I recently updated my ipod music rotation and found these gems which I can't stop listening to (in no particular order):

The Ghost Inside - Broken Bells
Great beat and falsetto singing... you had me at hello.

Everlasting Light - The Black Keys
The beat reminds me of another song, or maybe it's just a familiar hook (look, I wasn't a music major) but I like the filter or whatever on his voice.

Hustle and Cuss - The Dead Weather
This song feels like pure 70s rock... it's just perfect... bobbing head in time.

Nothing But Change, Pt. 2 - Harlem Shakes
A fun song with nice lyrics... "don't leave before you go"... deep man, very deep. (the audio is from a live set)

So Near - Jack Peñate
The beat will make you want to jump around and dance like no one is watching. I'm loving his voice.

Coffee Spoon - Cold War Kids
The only other song I know by this band was their hit Hang me Up to Dry (back in 2007) but after listening to this, I think I should dig around in their discography and see what else I might find.

I Can Change - LCD Soundsystem
Why in the eff am I just discovering LCD Soundsystem now!? Right when they break up! (they gave their farewell concert April 11th) Bunk that! They should stay together and make more songs like this, just for me. "I can change... If it helps you fall in love"

Nothin' On You (feat. Bruno Mars) - B.o.B
I'm always late to "new" music but I just love this hook, or maybe it's just Bruno Mars' voice... yeah, it's probably that... but great song!

What's My Name? - Rihanna & Drake
I am not a fan of Drake. His slow, non rhyming talk songs bore me... but this hook is so catchy that I can't help but singing along. "Oh, na, na, what's my name?"

Have any music recommendations? I'm listening...
