Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami
After reading this book I shut off my Kindle and just stared at the wall trying to make sense of it. After a couple minutes I realize, I didn't have an answer to that question, but I do know I enjoyed the story.
This story is filled with interesting characters, mysteries, fantasy, metaphors, humor, loneliness, and people searching for something. The plot, which I guess isn't that hard to explain (but I won't) is best left unknown... you should go into this book just knowing it will be a strange ride.
